Artist's International Development Grant

I have received an Artist's International Development Fund Grant, from Arts Council England and the British Council, for a project in India.

I will be an Artist-in-Residence at the Sanskriti Foundation in New Delhi in January, 2014. I will be conducting research into Indian folk textile traditions in the Sanskriti Museum of Indian Textiles, to develop an installation in response to artefacts in the collection. I will travel to Jaipur in February to research traditional textile block printing methods in workshops and in the collection of printed textiles in the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing.

I will be posting from Delhi and Jaipur in January and February.
